  1. To install the new the update, unzip the downloaded update231.zip to c:\temp
  2. Start ChemoTrac
  3. Select on the main menu Tools|Update to Dictionary
  4. Select update231.mdb from c:\temp and press Open

You will also notice that the "Pre-approved" feature is NOT working yet until we get the approval from CCO.

After you have replaced the chemotrac.exe file and performed the update, the splash screen from Help/About ChemoTrac should show version 1.101 and Database version 1.09.

Update108.mdb provides the following update to your database:
bulletMake some changes in the existing Epirubicin Eligibility Form used for Adjuvant Treatment of Breast Cancer. (You have received the change quite a while ago on the paper Eligibility Form)
bulletCorrect the drug name of Liposomal Doxorubicin (previously just Doxorubicin)


Please save the Update108.mdb file into your appropriate folder.

To perform the update, invoke the ChemoTrac program, select Tools/Update Dictionary and select Update108.mdb (Note that the update might take more than one minute to perform. Please be patient)

Mar. 2002 Finally, we have completed the testing of the web base data upload to CCO program. This new program will allow users to send data directly to CCO via the internet. The data will be encrypted and sent to a secured CCO server. Users will have a choice to sent data via the web or still export their data to a diskette.

Please find in the attached a zipped file that contains two files: Chemotrac.exe and Update107.mdb.

Regardless of the choice of your method of sending the data, you will need to replace the existing program file (chemotrac.exe) and perform the update with the Update107.mdb file in order to keep current with the program. The new program will have "version 1.1" displayed on the splash screen when you invoke the Chemotrac program.

Jan. 2002 This update accommodates the changes included in the Memo by Marilyn Nefsky dated September 25, 2001.

Please also note that "Doxorubicin" that appears in the drug selection table for the second and the third line Ovarian Cancer is the same as "Liposomal Doxorubicin". A correction will be made in the next update.

Mar. 2001 This update contains ChemoTrac.exe version 1.03b. We have added the database update version number to be viewed in the Help/About Chemotrac menu. Please replace your existing ChemoTrac.exe with this one.

Jan. 2001 This update fixes a bug that prevents some of the data from being recognized by CCO. This update contains a new ChemoTrac.exe file that should replace the existing one. Update0101.zip (149 KB)
Nov. 2000 This update fixes a bug which causes a problem when printing Eligibility Forms. The update has two components: ChemoTrac version 1.03a program (ChemoTrac.exe) and Update1100.mdb.

Please follow the instructions as listed below:

Replace the existing Chemotrac.exe file by the new one being sent. (After replacement, you should find it reads 1.03a when you open up the Help in the Main menu)

bullet

Invoke the ChemoTrac program. WHILE the splash screen is being displayed, press down the following keys together: <Shift>; <Ctrl>; and <Delete>. You should see a dialog box confirming that the database has been deleted. (Your data will NOT be deleted. Only the template of the Eligibility form is deleted). Press the OK button.

bulletDo the update with Update1100.mdb (This will restore the proper template of the Eligibility form).

All users should replace the program and the database template whether there's a problem printing out the Eligibility forms or not.

To update, simply invoke the ChemoTrac program. Select Tools from the main menu. Select Update to Dictionary. Go to the folder where you have the Update0500.mdb and press the "Open" button, or simply double click the Update0500.mdb file. (You'll need to unzip Update0500.zip first!)

Feb. 2000 This update (1.02) will allow users to enter Irinotecan as the first line and the second line treatment of colorectal cancer. It also provides the entry for the use of Docetaxel for non-small cell lung cancer.

Directions to update ChemoTrac:

Unzip the Update0200.zip file to get the new chemotrac.exe file and update0200.mdb file;

Replace the existing chemotrac.exe (version 1.01) with the new chemotrac.exe (version 1.02);

Invoke the ChemoTrac program. Select Tools on the main menu. Select Update to Dictionary. Go to the folder where you have the Update0200.mdb and press the "Open" button, or simply double click the Update0200.mdb file.

ChemoTrac version 1.01 includes the following changes:

BSA fields on all applicable Eligibility Forms are mandatory (required by CCO). Failure to enter BSA will prompt ChemoTrac to display an error message prompting users to complete all mandatory fields.

bullet

The "Weight" field on Trastuzumab Eligibility Form is mandatory.

bullet

Text fields included in criteria listed on the Eligibility Criteria are mandatory and must be filled.

bullet

Health Insurance Number field has a fixed length of 10 digits and only accepts numerals.

bullet

All flags prompting letters from physician have been removed (CCO will not require letters from physician to continue treatment).

Users are reminded to read and follow the instructions for installing version 1.01 and Update1099.mdb as outlined in the Readme.txt file.
